I got my new computer and it has the Windows 7 operation system, love it. I went from Windows XP to the 7 so it has to be better. Tried Vista, hated it. Matter fact I got a new computer with Windows Vista and took it back to the store and got my money back.
Over time I will tell if this system is one that I can live with and enjoy. All ready it is not bad at all. Now the computer I bought is a Gateway system. Could have done better as far as brand, but this one was selling for $479 could not pass up this deal. 4gigs of Ram. 350gig Harddrive, 15.5" screen, dolby sound, great graphs card. Could not walk away from the deal. Oh its a laptop/notebook, I don't know the difference.
For now it works for all I need to do, and blogging is one of them. be good, peace out.

Michael Jackson Movie
I went and seen Michael Jackson's new movie and it was great as well as sad at the same time. To thing that he did all that work for months in front of an empty house and a few workers was sad. It was great to see him at 50 years old at his best. I had some doubts about the movie as to his health and stature in during any kind of show, none the less 50 shows, but the movie showed he was in top form. Yet in certain parts of the movie that were truly at the end of his life, you could tell that he had lost a lot of weight. He looked sick at one point, almost skeleton like in form.
It was great to see one of the greats entertainers of my time at his best. His ability to hear music and know what the audience needed to hear and feel was mastery at it greatest. Would I recommend this movie yes go see it and witness history. Michael have joined the club Elvis club. He is not dead but awaken to a new life in time.

Loving Each Other
It late at night matter fact it is 2:17 am in the morning and I need to be in bed, but before I do I want to day learn to love someone new in your life. So many times we only love those people who we know or those who are easy to love. But if we are to love according to the bible than we should love those people who are hard and difficult to love. Why because God loved us long before some if not all of else was lovable. Its easy to say I love someone but do you show it. For some it just a word or a smile or even just showing you care.
With so much division in this country today what we really need is to become more like Christ and than the world might believe we really care.

Pastors Deserve Fare Pay
Have most of you ever thought about the fact that a Pastor gets paid less than most working people but works harder and more hours than most. The real joke is most people look on TV and see the televangelist the ones that are making, sometimes millions of dollars, and believe the little guy in that corner church in their neighborhood is during the same thing. Not. People have to understand there is without question more small churches in the country than large churches. Matter fact is said that small church actually make a bigger impact in a community than big churches any day. You might be say hows that, well I glad you asked. Small churches are more family building more neighborhood friendly and in most case historic in years of presence in a community than most large fast growing churches.
Most of the pastor of small churches have more history, with the people in community and in many case still are connected and available to their members. In most big churches you can not get to the Senior Pastor. He or she don't know you by name, unless you are a major figure in the church and God forbid something should happen to you are one of you family members it is not Pastor that comes to consul you but a staff member that is assigned to you.
Whats my point, well must people believe the big church pastor is worthy more than the small church pastor. Member fact I know from experience must small church pastor have to almost fight with his board or members to prove he is worth paying and paying well. Yet what most people count on is that the pastor just do what ever he is going to do out of the goodness of his heart, tell that to baker and milkman and God forbid if you in gas in your car for the funeral service.
How much is your pastor worth to you? Is he or she less important in your life that you would rather still him or her family struggle yet you still demanding that on Sunday morning he preach a sermon on how you are to be bless but not him or her. You buy a new car and want everybody to notice and pat you on the back but if pastor drives up in one you want to how can he afford a new car, and if is being paid to much.
We say the bible says, do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. If you want the man of God to preach a God bless you sermon to you, than please preach one back to him, because he needs you as much as you need him. Know that he has to live in this world just like you and he has to pay for the stay, just like you. He family is wanting thins just like you family and behind his close doors at night he has to deal with some of the same issues you have to deal with, but with a smile and a prayer.
Be kind and understanding. Pay your pastor he deserve it.

Celebration of Service
Today my wife and I are celebrating 11 yrs of service as Pastor and wife at the First Baptist Church of Los Banos, Ca. On this weekend we will be having a couple of services in honor of all the work we have been doing in Los Banos. I tease the congregation all the time about coming to Los Banos, because who would have ever thought I would be living in a little town in the middle of nowhere, surround by cornfields and cows farms. I have lived in small towns before but this is different. Don't miss understand me I have falling in love with Los Banos, California, and the people are great the city is quite, people are friendly and everybody knows everybody if you let yourself be know.
One the things I always wish for was to be known in the city I ministered and because of the size of this city and the fact if you speak on anything everybody knows. I always say God knows how to get a laugh. So 11yrs later I am still here working with so great folks, during what I love to do, working with people and enjoying it.
